Well this past weekend I just photographed my first wedding. Thankfully I was second shooter so there was no that much pressure on my end. I ran into some issue with the flash not syncing with my camera and not recycling properly, so I missed out on some great shots. All in all I had a great time and look forward to doing it again next season.

For years my father shot weddings and I always heard the horror stories of the bridezillas and the constant running to the lab (before the days of digital). Nevertheless I though I would give it a try and I really like it! I can really appreciate the digital medium now because it makes a life lot easier when you are shooting a wedding. My dad says I am cheating but he is just too old school, and perhaps a little jealous he did not have digital back in the day, haha.

Any wedding photographers out there who have some pearls of wisdom they would like to bestow...I am all ears. Pictures to come.
